NINE GOLDEN SWANS
A FINE JEWELRY BRAND + PASSION PROJECT
During the pandemic, I was in need of a creative project to keep me occupied, so I started blogging about fine jewelry under the name Nine Golden Swans. That quickly led to selling vintage pieces on Etsy and Instagram. But it wasn't long before I returned to my design roots.
In 2021, I designed and brought to life a collection titled “Nights in Shining Armour.” Although the pieces are no longer available, I'm excited to showcase all of the work I put into this passion product, from the brand experience to the jewelry itself.
JEWELRY COLLECTION DESIGN
Drawing on my design background and GIA training, I conceived a glittering collection of pendants and earrings.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
The pieces were produced at a New York casting house using recycled 14K gold and ethically sourced gemstones.
VISUAL BRANDING
I created the brand's visual identity and logo which was engraved on the back of each jewelry piece.
WEBSITE CREATION
I began with a customized Wordpress + Woocommerce site, then migrated to Shopify.
CREATIVE DIRECTION
I worked with a team of photographers, videographers, models, and hair and makeup artists to bring my vision to life.
CONTENT CREATION
I authored a series of blog articles all about fine jewelry and promoted the brand on social media.
ORDER FULFILLMENT
Jewelry items were made-to-order and shipped out to customers in branded, eco-friendly packaging.
SMALL BUSINESS ADMIN
I took care of all the behind-the-scenes responsibilities of owning and operating a single-member LLC.
